End of the Harvest

The harvest 2010 just finished the 18th of October\r\n& started the 28th of September.\r\nThe water deficit from july to october is the main\r\ncharacteristic of the vintage 2010.\r\nThe rainfall during this 4 month was 80 mm\r\n( less than 2009 & 2005 ).\r\nThe month of july was very warm but august\r\n& september more temperate.\r\nThe harvest took place in perfect conditions,\r\nas and whenthe evolution of the maturity\r\nof the different grape varieties.\r\nAverage yield of our 4 grape varieties\r\n= 38 hl / ha.\r\nThe vintage 2010 shows a deficit of\r\nproduction of 20%.\r\nEnological analysis have entirely confirmed\r\nthe potential of this vintage.\r\nSmall & concentrated grape berries, in perfect health\r\nwere carrying very favorable oenological characters :\r\nPotential of alcohol, anthocyanins (color),\r\nacidity, ripeness of the tannins & aromatic complexity.\r\nThis grapes of very good quality reveived in the vats\r\nwill allow to vinificate very great wines.\r\nThis vintage will be favorable to the expression\r\nof power on the palate.\r\nOur winemaking take this into account.\r\nAnd the good acidity on this vintage will help\r\nto get the necessary balance…
